I use default antispam plugins from wordpress and I’ve enabled moderation. So I must approve all comments.

do you use onboard SATA controller ?

I’m using onboard controller.

Drivers are directly in my kernel (2.6.35).
Here are some information from my system, maybe it helps you.

Looks like it using ata_piix driver from kernel.

po pravde sa uz PMD dlhsiu dobu nevenujem. Clanok uz ma niekolko rokov takze bohuzial vam uz asi nebudem vediet pomoct.

Thank you for a great posting. Your script really helped me. I will use LVM and LVM snapshots and tried the Writeback feature. But I never got the “flush-dirty-blocks-from-cache-to-disk”-feature to work. Instead I used Writethrough and your script.
